Places to visit near Mukteshwar.
The pool, the café and game zone, forest trails, the Bhalu Gaad waterfall and the old temple on the ridge. Here's what a stay at The Rare One’s looks like.
A day at the resort
How a day in the hills goes.
No schedule to keep. This is simply how most of our guests end up spending it.
Tea and the view
Mist lifts off the valleys. On clear mornings the snow peaks show up on the horizon.
Breakfast at the café
A slow breakfast with the hills in front of you.
Down to the waterfall
The trail to Bhalu Gaad waterfall runs through the forest nearby. Ask us for directions.
Pool & game zone
Laze by the pool, or pick a game with the family.
Stars & supper
Far from city lights, the sky fills with stars. Supper is served at the restaurant.

A pool on the hilltop.
The outdoor swimming pool looks straight out over the valleys. Spend a lazy afternoon in the water or on the deck while the clouds move across the hills. See the pool and game zone.
A café and a game zone for rainy days.
The café does tea, coffee and snacks all day, and the restaurant serves proper meals. When the mist rolls in, the game zone keeps children and grown-ups busy for hours.

Forest trails and a waterfall.
The resort sits in the forest near Chaukhuta village, where the trail to Bhalu Gaad waterfall begins. It is an easy half-day walk through oak and rhododendron forest to the falls. Ask us for directions before you set out.
